- We check your details, confirm the price in a formal quote and invoice you. Nothing is made until you approve your quote.
- Once you have paid in full, by the payment method shown on your invoice, your secondary glazing goes into manufacture and is delivered to you.
Delivery
Delivery lead times vary by product and location, and are confirmed on your quote. Delivery is included in your quoted price. Delivery to UK mainland addresses is free on orders of £500 or more (inc VAT). For orders under £500, delivery to UK mainland addresses costs £60 (inc VAT). We also deliver to the Scottish Highlands, islands and offshore locations, at an extra site-specific cost that we quote separately; the free delivery and £60 delivery charge above apply to UK mainland addresses only.
Please check your units as soon as they arrive and report any damage within 48 hours of delivery, with photos, to quotes@thesecondaryglazingco.co.uk.
Fitting guidance
Fitting secondary glazing yourself is a reasonable DIY job for anyone comfortable using a drill, a spirit level and a screwdriver. The key is a square, solid fixing surface and careful attention to sealing, because small gaps let in draughts and noise. Fitting instructions come with every order.
